La abadía del crimen is a video adventure, where a Franciscan friar, Fray Guillermo de Occam (William of Baskerville in the book) and the young novice Adso of Melk have to discover the author of a series of murders that happen in a Benedictine abbey in the Italy peninsula.
It is a complex video game, which takes place in 7 days, in which it will be necessary to carry out the work of a monk of that time, while in free time he conducts research for the labyrinthine abbey. William must comply at all times with the orders of the Abbot, particularly attending Mass and the dining room when the bell rings, as well as following him when requested. Another of the most categorical orders is not to leave his cell at night, however this is necessary to advance the investigation and William will have to circumvent the Abbot's vigilance and avoid being discovered.
