FICHA DE CRÍTICA

Runner Heroes: The curse of night and day is a game that should be an instant hit, it has high production values and is a simple concept. That should be it and I go off singing it’s praised and continue to play it right? Well and here we go, the tutorial does little to help break you in as the controls that at this point are alien to you, never really get shown to you. The flow is fine but any slight hiccup and it’s back to the checkpoint. Checkpoints are far apart and with that comes the typical replay a load of the level. It’s a shame and constant gripe that marrs a somewhat otherwise decent experience. I had moments of satisfaction as I pulled off a perfect run but it’s just so frustrating and slow in all other ways that I couldn’t get the most out of it. Il continues to check in as I do like the game.
